The approach

Kill the scouts and nothing changes

The ants on your counter are foragers. The nest is in framing that a gutter has been leaking into for six years. Wipe out the trail and next week brings a new one.

So the visit starts where the problem lives, and the building fault that made your house attractive goes on the report. That is the part that stops the repeat.

  • Crawlspace, attic, roofline and perimeter inspected
  • Species named before anything gets applied
  • Fixed written price before work starts
  • Sealing quoted up front instead of upsold on the day
  • Placement planned around your kids and pets, re-entry times in writing
  • Signed report and pesticide record every visit
  • 3-month guarantee on what we treated

Seasonal plans

weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly. Most houses run spring and late summer. That covers the ant, wasp and spider peaks, and catches rodents before the autumn move indoors.

What you keep

The paperwork you are left with.

Every visit produces one of these, signed and dated. It is the record BC's Integrated Pest Management rules require of a licensed operator, and it is yours.

Questions

Asked by homeowners

One visit, or a regular plan?

One identified problem is usually one job plus a follow-up. A wasp nest, a rodent entry, a single ant colony. A plan earns its money when the property keeps getting re-pressured: a treed lot with carpenter ants, farmland at the fence, a hedge that grows yellowjackets every August. We will tell you which one you are.

Will you spray inside my house?

Often not at all. Rodent work is sealing and stations. Ant and spider work is mostly outside. Where interior treatment is needed it goes into cracks, voids and hinges instead of open surfaces, and you get a re-entry time in writing.

I rent. Who deals with this?

In BC an infestation is generally the landlord's to fix, and in an apartment it has to be handled building-wide to work at all. Send us the owner or property manager and we will quote them directly.

Can you treat an empty place before I move in?

That is the easiest possible time. Full access to baseboards, closets and appliance cavities with no furniture to work around.

What do I need to do first?

For an inspection, just clear access to the crawlspace hatch, the attic and under the sinks. Cockroach, bed bug and flea jobs need real preparation and you get a written sheet beforehand. Unprepared rooms are the main reason those treatments fail.
