How we handle your information
We collect what we need to quote and carry out pest control work, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
When you submit a form or call us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, property address and a description of the problem. When we carry out work we also record what we found, what we applied, and the dates of service. British Columbia's Integrated Pest Management Regulation requires a licensed operator to keep those records.
This website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking pixels. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, quote the work, schedule and perform service, invoice you, honour the guarantee, and meet our provincial record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only where the work or the law requires: our payment processor for card transactions, and provincial regulators where a pesticide use record has to be produced. Your address and service history go to nobody else without your consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept up to two years. Service and pesticide records are retained for the period British Columbia's Integrated Pest Management Regulation requires, and financial records for the period the Canada Revenue Agency requires.
Your rights
Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Email info@newtonpestcontrol.ca or call (604) 862-1414 and we will respond within 30 days.
